Elle was introduced to Scotties as a child where her grandmother’s neighbor owned 3 of them. Although not a Scottie owner herself, through her decades long friendship with Michele Geiger-Bronsky (a fellow nursing colleague) she has become an Auntie to Michele’s first Scottie, Shayna, Katie’s puppies and the current Geiger-Bronsky Scottie Clan. Elle has shared her home with many different dog breeds over the years and is currently Mom to a little Yorkshire terrier Maddigan (Scottie cousin).

It wasn’t long before she was recruited as a DCSR volunteer, auction donor and the baker of Scottish Terrier Shortbread using a recipe which was handed down through six generations of Celtic women.

Elle became intricately involved in Rally activities and served on the Board beginning in Nov. 2021 as Vice President and has now stepped into the roles of Event Coordinator & Treasurer.
